The prize is the Emirates’ international awards for energy and sustainability pioneers. Earlier this week, the UAE formally submitted a document to the United Nations, outlining the country’s commitment to countering global warming. Dr. Thani Al-Zeyoudi is Permanent Representative of the UAE to The International Renewable Energy Agency and Director of Energy and Climate Change at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
