UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a virtual meeting with US Senator Joni Ernst to discuss UAE–US strategic cooperation and their shared commitment to strengthening ties.
They also reviewed the latest regional developments and their serious implications for regional and global peace and security.
The talks covered continued Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Senator Ernst condemned the attacks as violations of sovereignty and international law.
The meeting was attended by UAE Ambassador to the United States, Yousef Al Otaiba.
