The UAE expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco over the victims of the earthquake that struck southwest of Marrakesh, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its sincere condolences to the government and people of Morocco and the families of the victims of this tragedy, as well as its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured.
UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to his official X account (formerly Twitter) to offer his condolences.
He said, "I extend my deepest condolences to my brother, King Mohammed VI and the people of Morocco over the devastating earthquake that struck the country. We in the UAE stand with the Kingdom of Morocco during this difficult time and wish a speedy recovery ahead to all those affected."

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and the Ruler of Dubai sent a similar message on his social media account and expressed his solidarity with the country and those affected by the calamity.

The Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates today sent separate cables of condolences to His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco over the victims of the earthquakes that struck the country on Friday, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
The cables were sent by Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.
Similar cables were sent to King Mohammed VI by the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the Emirates.
