The United Arab Emirates has launched the first fully integrated judicial platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
It was announced by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, in a post on his official X account.
Sheikh Mansour described the moment as "a step that reflects our belief that innovation is the path to more efficient and faster justice, and solidifies the UAE's position as a global model in developing governmental and judicial work."
The first phase of the AI Judicial Platform project is expected to begin in September, with a phased 18-month implementation.
The landmark achievement is the latest step in the UAE's drive to modernise the justice system by streamlining judicial procedures and accelerating the delivery of legal services, while also continuing to expanding the use of AI across government services across the region.
