The Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation distributed winter bags in Mongolia as part of its “Winter Bag” initiative. Mongolia is one of the 19 countries benefiting from this initiative.
The Foundation’s team distributed the bags at five locations in Bayan-Ulgii, located in western Mongolia.
The bags contain winter clothing and supplies for children aged 2 to 16, as well as for adults and the elderly.
This year, the initiative covers several countries and regions across the world.
The Foundation has doubled the number of beneficiaries of the “Winter Bag” initiative this year, increasing the total number of kits to 50,000 compared to 20,000 last winter.
Last winter, the UAE sent 20,000 packages to 13 countries, including Iraq, Pakistan, Chad, Ethiopia, Kosovo, Albania, and Nepal.
The Zayed Charitable Humanitarian Foundation was launched in 1992 by late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
