The UAE has strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Kabul that resulted in several deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the attack, the second to take place this week, is an unacceptable escalation of violence and a heinous terrorist act against civilians and their families.
The ministry renewed the UAE's firm position against terrorism, saying it must be rejected and combated by all civilised nations.
The ministry expressed the UAE’s condolences to families of the victims while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack that targeted the Shash Darak district in the Afghan capital.
