Two Indians and one Pakistani national have died and six more injured after a fire led to the explosion of three petroleum tankers near ADNOC's storage yard in Musaffah on Monday.
In a series of tweets, the national news agency WAM said the blaze has been brought under control.
Another "minor" fire was reported near a construction area of the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Preliminary investigations have indicated that "small flying objects, possibly drones" caused the fires.
Authorities said "no significant damages" were caused and an extensive investigation is currently underway.
