Imran Khan has thanked the UAE’s leaders for pardoning nearly 600 Pakistani prisoners.
In a statement, the Pakistani Prime Minister said he appreciates the initiative and that it would go a long way in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ordered then release of the inmates on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile Asad Qaiser, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, hailed the support given by the UAE to boost economic development in his country.
