The UAE confirmed 1,070 new cases of COVID-19 from 311,295 tests on Friday.
Another 1,619 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 687,644.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,014.
A total of 707,236 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 17,578 are currently active.
