Nearly 30,913 travellers have had their procedures completed at UAE airports, while 15,327 entry visas have been issued to stranded passengers.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security says it has activated emergency and business continuity plans following the precautionary suspension of flights amid current regional developments.
In coordination with national authorities, the ICP confirmed it has provided full support to arriving, departing and transit passengers affected by the disruption, ensuring the continuation of critical services.
Travel procedures were completed for around 30,913 passengers at the country’s main airports, including Zayed International Airport, Dubai International Airport, Sharjah International Airport, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and Fujairah International Airport.
Authorities also issued 15,327 entry visas, allowing affected travellers to remain in the UAE until conditions stabilise.
Hospitality, accommodation and transport were arranged in coordination with airport operators and relevant partners.
The ICP says coordination is ongoing to ensure seamless operations once full air traffic resumes, with risk management measures implemented to the highest approved standards.
