Authorities in the UAE have issued fresh guidelines for passengers arriving on business flights.
The revised protocols have been announced by the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) in coordination with the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as part of the gradual reopening of all sectors.
- All inbound passengers on business jets, including visitors and residents, must show the official approval of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICA) as well as copies of vaccination certificates at the port of departure
- It's mandatory for travellers to present a negative PCR test result with a QR code dated less than 48 hours prior to departure
- They are also required to present a negative result of a Rapid PCR test taken at the airport within six hours of departure
- Another PCR test will be carried out upon arrival in the UAE and two more on day 4 and day 8
- The protocol also includes cancelling the maximum capacity of business flights
#NCEMA: Under the framework of the gradual opening of all sectors and in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority and the General Civil Aviation Authority, we are pleased to announce the business flight protocol.#TogetherWeRecover pic.twitter.com/abHCyyRAS4
