Students from the UAE are in Milan for the Expo 2015 event, ahead of Dubai hosting it in 2020. The trip’s been undertaken to give pupils from GEMS Al Khaleej National School an understanding of the event. Year 10 student Khalfan Hableel told ARN what the main focus of the Expo is…The theme of Dubai Expo 2020 is ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, with a focus on opportunity, mobility and sustainability. Meanwhile, the UAE pavilion in Milan has so far attracted over 1.1 million visitors, providing the nation with the opportunity to talk to an international audience. The number was revealed on Tuesday, which marked the start of the five-year countdown to Expo 2020 in Dubai. The event in Dubai is expected to be the most international Expo in history, with 70% of the expected 25 million visitors coming from abroad.
