The UAE confirmed 1,490 new cases of COVID-19 from 241,630 tests on Friday.
Another 1,451 people have received the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 532,910
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,644.
A total of 552,920 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,366 are currently active.
