UAE reports 1,401 COVID-19 cases

The UAE confirmed 1,401 new cases of COVID-19 from 244,880 tests on Thursday.

Another 1,374 people have received the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 531,459.

Three patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,642.

A total of 551,430 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,329 are currently active.

The Ministry of Health conducts 244,880 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,401 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,374 recoveries and 3 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover pic.twitter.com/0dRcdDleaB
