UAE President orders AED 35 million aid for Somalia

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the provision of AED 35 million of urgent humanitarian aid for Somalia.

The latest initiative is aimed at supporting the African nation's development efforts and enhancing its government's capacity to deal with various humanitarian challenges.

It will also help improve the living conditions of Somalis.

Sheikh Mohamed's directive comes within the framework of the fraternal relations between the two countries, and reaffirms the UAE's keenness to support friendly nations.
