The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is advising UAE nationals and residents to avoid non-essential travel to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan due to the evolving public health situation related to Ebola.
The Ministry says the advisory is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of UAE citizens abroad.
Emiratis currently in these countries are urged to remain vigilant, follow health and safety guidance issued by local authorities, and register with the Twajudi service.
In case of an emergency, UAE nationals can contact the Ministry through its dedicated hotline at +971 80024.
