The second round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States has begun in Abu Dhabi, as diplomatic efforts continue to advance the political process towards resolving the crisis.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the UAE’s hosting of the talks reflects its strong and balanced relations with all three parties, as well as the international community’s confidence in the country’s role as a trusted facilitator of dialogue.
It added that the launch of the second round demonstrates the parties’ continued commitment to diplomacy, expressing hope that the discussions will build on the outcomes of the first round and help advance mutual understanding.
The Ministry also reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive and lasting political solution, strengthening prospects for peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
