The UAE Cyber Security Council is urging individuals and organisations to remain vigilant against Wiper malware, describing it as one of the most destructive forms of malicious software, designed to erase data and disrupt systems.
The Council stressed the importance of following cybersecurity best practices, including regularly updating systems, avoiding suspicious links and files, and maintaining secure data backups.
It added that awareness and preparedness are key to protecting data and ensuring the resilience of digital services.
