The UAE has confirmed 41 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 611.
In a press briefing, Dr Farida Al Hosani, official spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said two more people have died due to the novel coronavirus, bringing the death toll to five.
She added that three people have successfully recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 63.
