The UAE has strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Afghanistan's Kandahar that left at least three civilians dead and 12 others wounded.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed the UAE's permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of international law.
The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the people of Afghanistan and the families of the victims, as well as its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured.
On Thursday, the IS terror group claimed responsibility for the attack outside a bank as people gathered to withdraw cash.
