The UAE has condemned the "terrorist attack" that targeted a train in southwest Pakistan's Balochistan province, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said the UAE "expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of international law."
The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan and to the families of the victims of the attack, and wished a speedy recovery for all the injured.
Separatist Baloch rebels on Tuesday blew up the railway track and hurled rockets at the Jaffar Express when it was on its way to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province from Balochistan's capital of Quetta, carrying 440 people.
A day-long standoff with the Pakistani military resulted in all 33 attackers killed.
The military said 21 hostages and four security troops were killed over the course of the standoff.
The group says it has been fighting for a larger share in the regional wealth of mines and minerals denied by the central government.
