The UAE Ministry of Interior has announced the implementation of the entry procedure for Emirati citizens into the ‘Global Entry’ program.

This initiative follows an agreement signed during UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's official visit to the United States in September.

The Global Entry program, part of US border protection initiatives, allows UAE citizens expedited access to the United States for tourism, business, and personal visits.

Participants will benefit from streamlined entry at designated gates in US airports, enhancing their travel experience and reinforcing the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and the US.

This program acknowledges the UAE’s esteemed reputation and aims to simplify travel for its citizens, allowing smoother entry at over 75 US ports of entry.

Interested participants can apply through the official website at https://ttp.dhs.gov/ and will undergo a security background check.

While the program significantly reduces wait times, travelers must still hold a valid entry visa for the United States.
