Emirati authorities carried out an air ambulance mission for an injured person who "suffered a sudden health problem" in Oman, it was announced on Wednesday.
The mission was conducted by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard and the UAE Embassy in Muscat.
With the cooperation and support of the Omani authorities, the injured man was transferred by ambulance to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in the UAE for further treatment after an initial treatment at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Omani authorities for their significant cooperation and prominent role in providing support to the UAE Embassy in Muscat, which contributed to the success of the air ambulance mission.
