The UAE Ministry of Interior has advised the public to head to a safe place upon receiving an emergency alert.
In a statement shared on social media, the authority added that those driving when receiving the notification should continue to their intended destination and proceed to the nearest safe space upon arrival.
The authority noted that the community should comply until an "all clear" alert is issued for the area.
The ministry also warned that violations of the instructions are subject to legal action, advising the public to cooperate for their protection.
