Two men have been arrested in Ajman for defrauding residents in the Emirate through witchcraft and sorcery.
Following several complaints, the Ajman Police task force set up a trap by setting up a fake case with the promise of paying AED 10,000.
The men promptly arrived at the meeting point set by the officers, and were caught red-handed while preparing to perform witchcraft.
Materials used in sorcery were seized from the room.
The case has been transferred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
The police have urged the public to be extra cautious and report such illegal activities.
