The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention announced that the National Disinfection Programme has been a success and will be extended.
In a press briefing on Saturday, the Ministry confirmed the disinfection campaign will continue overnight daily from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am until Sunday, April 5.
They have urged members of the public to follow previous instructions and to stay at home overnight.
Dubai residents who wish to step out of their homes to buy essentials like food or medicine during the overnight disinfection drive will need to get approval online.
It’s part of efforts by the UAE authorities to ensure the safety of the public during the sterlisation drive.
