His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the board of directors of Dubai Chambers, who will "propose mega initiatives to spearhead Dubai's economy, ultimately creating a robust business environment".
It follows the restructuring of the body into three entities - Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and Dubai Chamber of International Trade.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, His Highness added that the move will "boost international trade, advance Dubai's digital economy, protect the interests of entrepreneurs and business owners, and support the government's efforts to establish Dubai as the world's best economic system".
We approved the board of directors of the overarching Dubai Chambers, which will oversee and coordinate the efforts of the 3 chambers under a common vision and propose mega initiatives to spearhead Dubai's economy, ultimately creating a robust business environment.

Juma Al Majid has been appointed the Honorary Chairman of Dubai Chamber.
Abdulaziz Al Ghurair has been named the Chairman of Dubai Chamber; Sultan bin Sulayem as Chairman of Dubai Chamber of International Trade; and Omar Al Olama as Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.
