Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed the importance of intensifying efforts to reach a political solution in Ukraine during a phone call with British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
The diplomats also highlighted the need to meet the humanitarian needs of civilians affected in Ukraine.
The two sides also discussed the stability of global energy and food markets, and exchanged views on regional and global developments.
During the talks, Sheikh Abdullah and Liz Truss also discussed the prospects of advancing bilateral ties.
