His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Foreign Minister of Israel, Gabi Ashkenazi, have inaugurated a phone link between the UAE and the state of Israel on Sunday.
In the phone call, the two ministers exchanged greetings following the announcement of a peace treaty between the two countries, which was signed last Thursday.
According to national news agency WAM, Sheikh Abdullah and Ashkenazi also emphasised their commitment to fulfil the provisions of the peace treaty between the two countries in order to promote peace and regional development.
