Authorities have once again warned of tough action against reckless drivers and those who deliberately violate traffic rules.
The latest reminder comes after a motorist was arrested in Sharjah for performing stunts on Madam-Al Shuwaib Road that led to an accident.
He was arrested within hours of the video of the stunts going viral on social media.
Police said the clip dates back to the second day of Eid Al Fitr (May 25).
Two teenagers were arrested in Abu Dhabi recently for a similar offence during the Eid holidays.
Motorists caught driving recklessly face a fine of AED 2,000 and 23 black points, in addition to their vehicle being impounded for up to 60 days.
