The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has taken proactive steps to ensure UAE nationals receive efficient and timely assistance while traveling abroad.
The Ministry has implemented advanced systems and strategies to address emergencies and inquiries around the clock, providing swift responses to challenges faced by Emirati travelers.
Mrs. Bushra Almatrushi, Director of the UAE Nationals Affairs Department, highlighted the Ministry's alignment with the UAE’s vision by embracing digital transformation. The Ministry offers easy access to services via its official website and smartphone application.
Travelers are advised to plan ahead, book through trusted platforms, avoid carrying large sums of cash or valuables, and choose secure accommodations. The Ministry encourages travelers to review destination-specific travel guidelines available on its website and app for a safe journey.
In case of emergencies, UAE nationals abroad are urged to call the emergency hotline 0097180024, available 24/7. The “Twajudi” service, which helps the Ministry track and assist nationals, can be accessed through the MoFA website or app.
For general inquiries or services, nationals can contact the Ministry’s call center at 0097180044444.
