A man who went missing from his house in Al Amrah area on May 12 has been found dead in Al Ain desert.
Abu Dhabi Police said they identified the victim through his fingerprints, and eliminated any foul play.
Meanwhile, officials have dismissed social media reports claiming he died of "starvation" after his vehicle got stuck in the desert as baseless, adding that further investigations are currently underway.
The public have been reminded not to publish or circulate reports that are not verified or from official sources.
