A passenger who joked that her chest might explode during an airport body search has been cleared in court. The Egyptian’s comments backfired when she warned Abu Dhabi Airport security to “be careful or they will explode,” as she was patted down by a female officer after setting off the scanner. When police failed to find any explosives she was charged with making a false report. She had been sentenced to two months in jail by Abu Dhabi Misdemeanour Court, but was cleared on appeal.
