Technology experts from around the world are set to gather in Dubai for the region’s leading ICT event which kicks off tomorrow. The GITEX Technology Week is once again focusing on the latest innovations, with the event’s theme centered on “the internet being the future of everything”. It’s showcasing next generation technologies in fields ranging from cloud computing to big data, mobility and security. Government agencies are also displaying hi-tech devices and services that support Dubai’s drive towards becoming a smart city. The 35th edition of the event runs until October 22 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
