As virtual work culture is becoming the new norm, Dubai Tourism has found interesting ways to spruce things up online.
Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) has introduced a truly immersive experience with their new virtual background feature.
From the stunning Dubai skylines, sunsets and sea views, to the iconic Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab, to glimpses of the city’s vibrant cultural life, users can download the background of their choice for free as they catch up with friends, family and work colleagues on Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Webex.
That's not all. Colouring sheets featuring popular Dubai attractions can also be downloaded, so children and adults can indulge in a fun digital activity.
Issam Kazim, CEO, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), said: "With many individuals and families continuing to spend hours online, we hope these virtual effects will also serve to keep the city top-of-mind among travellers and encourage users to make Dubai their destination of choice."
