An Emirati girl has claimed the title of NASA’s youngest astronaut candidate. Nine-year-old Dana Sulaiman Al Bloushi has been honoured by His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE. Al Bloushi already holds a number of certificates from the space organisation and is involved in programmes in the fields of aeronautics and space administration at NASA in the United States. His Highness says the UAE takes pride in the achievements of its children, as well as their scientific excellence.
