Emirates has announced it's stepping up precautionary measures at the airport and on flights, including requiring staff to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Cabin crew, boarding agents and ground staff in direct contact with passengers will now wear a disposable gown over their uniforms and a protective visor, in addition to masks and gloves.
At Dubai International, all passengers must wear masks and gloves and have their temperatures taken, as well as follow physical distancing rules.

Meanwhile, magazines and other printed materials are temporarily unavailable, and cabin baggage is currently not accepted on flights.
All Emirates aircraft will go through enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes in Dubai, after each journey.
