Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the closure of a section of Emirates Road due to water accumulation.
The stretch between Expo Road and Al Fayah Truck Road has been affected in both directions.
The RTA has advised motorists heading towards Dubai to use Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road as an alternative route, while those heading towards Abu Dhabi can use Expo Road.
The authority added that its emergency response teams are dealing with the water accumulation to restore smooth traffic flow.
