Dubai expat Jody Ann Rodriguez, who was on life support, has died after going into cardiac arrest on Sunday afternoon.
After 15 days in a coma, a code blue was declared and CPR was performed on the Canadian but attempts at reviving her were unsuccessful.
The 56-year-old, who has lived in Dubai for 12 years, fell into a deep coma after suffering from a severe asthma attack on June 29.
Jody was married to the celebrated UAE-based filmmaker Jonathan Ali Khan, who planned to move his wife to a hospital in Italy for further treatment.
