Driver alert: Road closure in Dubai this weekend

The loop, leading to Emirates Road, in the direction of Sharjah, around Al Ruwayyah Interchange will be closed this weekend.

The closure will be in place from 12:00 am on Friday, May 7 until 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 8.

Motorists coming from Dubai, via Dubai-Al Ain Road will be the ones affected.

The Roads and Transport Authority has called on drivers to use alternative routes and follow the directional signs on-site.

For road users in #Dubai, please be informed about the closure of the loop leading to Emirates Rd. in the direction of Sharjah, for those coming from Dubai via Dubai-Al Ain Rd., starting Friday, May 7, at 12 AM until Saturday, May 8, at 4 PM.
