Not everyone with a cold or respiratory illness needs to get tested for COVID-19.
That’s the message from UAE medical experts who say screening is necessary for those who show the symptoms after recently travelling to countries with high rates of the disease.
The checks are also required for people who may have come into contact with an infected individual.
Dr. Abdulla Al Rasasi from the DHA’s Public Health Protection Department has this advice.
