The UAE has confirmed 2,080 new cases of COVID-19 from 212,779 tests.
Another 1,793 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 490,457.
Meanwhile, two more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,569.
A total of 508,925 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 16,899 are currently active.
