The UAE's latest community initiative to help workers has got off to a great start with the support of individuals and organisations.
As part of the campaign called ‘Be Well’, wellness boxes containing 44 essential health and safety items are being distributed.
More than 6,000 boxes have been delivered within the first two weeks of the project’s launch.
Aziz Al Amiri is the Executive Director of the National Programme for Happiness and Wellbeing, which is implementing the campaign.
He told ARN News how people can contribute towards the initiative.
He also explained the kind of items that go into the wellness boxes.
