Authorities have temporarily lifted the ban on the movement of trucks weighing 2.5 tonnes on Dubai’s roads.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the decision is aimed at making it easier for goods to be delivered to the market during the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the previous ban on the movement of trucks transporting hazardous materials remains in force.
The step also excludes Airport and Shindagha Tunnels, Al Maktoum and Floating Bridges.
