Students and staff in Abu Dhabi private schools must take a COVID-19 test before returning to classrooms.
In a statement sent to ARN News, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) added that school staff and students will also have to declare their recent travel history.
That's not all. Parents, students and staff will also have to download the Al Hosn app to allow contact tracing.
ADEK rules stipulate that children above the age of six will be required to wear masks at all times and maintain social distancing guidelines when they return to the campuses in the new academic year.
