Motorists are being advised to drive carefully by Abu Dhabi Police as heavy fog descends on the roads, reducing visibility.
Speed limits have been reduced to 80 kilometres per hours on the following routes; Al Ain to Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid and Maktoum bin Rashid between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Abu Dhabi to Al Ain between Sweihan and Al Hiyar, and Abu Dhabi to Sweihan.
Drivers are urged to follow the electronic information boards for updates.
