The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) has temporarily suspended a major construction project on Yas Island due to repeated violations of environmental standards.
This decision comes after thorough inspections and rising public concerns about increased water pollution, including elevated turbidity and notable changes in water quality.
The EAD has stated that the project will remain on hold until all necessary corrective measures are taken to ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations.
