New traffic radars have been activated near exits and crossroads in Abu Dhabi.
The solar-powered system called 'EXIT-I' can detect motorists who overtake in front of the intersection triangle, cut in line at exits and obstruct the flow of traffic.
Abu Dhabi Police said the main aim of these new devices is to enhance road safety and highlight the importance of complying with traffic rules.
