His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held discussions with Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State, particularly focusing on the situation in Gaza and Lebanon.
During a phone call, the two reviewed political and diplomatic efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire aimed at supporting efforts for lasting stability and security in the region.
They also discussed the international community's efforts to enhance humanitarian responses in Gaza and addressed the situation in Sudan and its humanitarian implications.
During the call, Sheikh Abdullah also highlighted the UAE's swift response in apprehending the murderers of the Moldovan national Zvi Kogan, underscoring the country's firm stance on maintaining the security and stability of its society and ensuring peaceful coexistence among its residents.
