2,062 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE confirmed 2,062 new cases of COVID-19 from 233,038 tests on Friday.

Another 2,035 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 558,584.

Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,691.

A total of 579,009 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,734 are currently active.
